On November 27th, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation Jinling Branch (hereinafter referred to as "Jinling Petrochemical"), Sinopec (Dalian) Petrochemical Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dalian Institute"), China Petrochemical Refining & Marketing Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Refining & Marketing Company") and Kaijin New Energy held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Nanjing, Jiangsu. Leaders including Chen Gang, Deputy General Manager of Jinling Petrochemical, Zhou Yong, Vice President of Dalian Institute, Luo Wangqun, Chief Expert of Refining & Marketing Company, and Yang Yunlin, General Manager of Kaijin New Energy, jointly attended the ceremony. Wei Jianjun, Senior Expert of Jinling Petrochemical Group Company, Liu Jihua, Senior Expert of Dalian Institute Group Company, and Luo Wangqun, Chief Expert of Refining & Marketing Company, signed the agreement on behalf of all parties, marking the commencement of in-depth cooperation among them.

Facing the future development trend of new energy and based on the innovation of new energy materials, Kaijin New Energy has partnered with a member of the Sinopec Group, opening up new horizons and directions for collaborative cooperation between the new energy materials sector and traditional energy and chemical enterprises. The cooperating parties will leverage their respective resources, technologies, production capacities, and channel advantages to jointly develop a batch of high-end anode materials based on the exploration of high-quality anode raw material needle coke, meeting the demands of the more upscale market.

In addition, through joint innovative research, we have established a structure-activity relationship for "needle coke-anode material-new energy battery", and have carried out long-term and stable cooperation in the development, evaluation, application, and iterative development of a series of petroleum-based anode material raw materials and products. This provides technical support for the cooperation in the anode material industry chain and the construction of the supply chain. We jointly explore the vast prospects of new energy anode materials, promote industrial upgrading and technological innovation, and make greater contributions to promoting the high-quality development of the energy industry.

Jinling Petrochemical is the third largest crude oil processing base of Sinopec, a major production base for detergent raw materials in Asia, and an important crude oil transit hub, refined oil product, and chemical raw material supply base in East China. It occupies an important position in China's energy strategic security and petrochemical industry layout. In the future, Kaijin New Energy will work together with Jinling Petrochemical, Dalian Institute, and the Refining and Marketing Company to actively explore new paradigms of industrial chain cooperation.
