On May 17, a delegation led by Jiang Jianchun, an academician of the CAE Member and a researcher of the Forest Products Chemical Industry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry Sciences, visited the Songshan Lake Headquarters of Kaijin New Energy, and awarded the enterprise the plaque of the demonstration base of the national key research and development plan of the "14th Five Year Plan", "Integrated Demonstration of Key Technologies for Negative Carbon Efficient Transformation of Forestry Biomass and Low Carbon Product Creation". Zhou Zhiping, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Kaijin New Energy, and Ge Chuanchang, Director of New Materials Business Unit, warmly welcomed the delegation.

As the core industrialization carrier of this special project, the project focuses on the efficient conversion of forestry biomass throughout the entire chain, aiming to build a circular economy model of "negative carbon process optimization carbon based material creation energy scene application" through technology integration and demonstration application. Academician Jiang Jianchun and his delegation conducted on-site inspections of the enterprise's hard carbon material production line and engaged in academic exchanges with the Kaijin technical team on key aspects such as forestry biomass pretreatment and pyrolysis carbonization processes.

Our Vice President Zhou Zhiping, on behalf of Kaijin New Energy, expresses sincere gratitude to Academician Jiang Jianchun and his delegation for their academic guidance. This award not only highly recognizes the company's strength in the field of biomass carbon based technology conversion, but also strongly promotes the deep integration of industry, academia and research development.
In the future, Kaijin New Energy looks forward to further deepening school enterprise cooperation with the research group, focusing on cutting-edge fields such as new carbon materials and porous carbon carriers for lithium/sodium ion batteries, conducting joint technological breakthroughs, and striving to build an independent core technology system; Strengthen cooperation in graduate education, cultivate versatile talents through co building joint training bases and innovating the "project training+research topic" model; Building a discipline innovation platform based on demonstration bases, jointly applying for national level scientific research projects, promoting interdisciplinary integration of forestry biomass and new energy materials, and jointly writing a new chapter in industrial upgrading and technological innovation.

Kaijin New Energy stated that it will take the demonstration base as an opportunity to deepen efforts in areas such as efficient conversion of forestry biomass and creation of low-carbon materials, and form a core technology and standard system with independent intellectual property rights, providing technological support for the green and low-carbon development of the new energy industry.
