Solid state batteries use solid electrolytes instead of traditional liquid electrolytes, which have disruptive advantages in terms of safety and energy density. By 2030, the global penetration rate of solid-state (including semi-solid) batteries is expected to reach 9%. From 2024 to 2030, the CAGR of global solid-state battery demand growth is 98%, corresponding to a CAGR of 111% for negative electrode demand growth.

Under the promotion of the national "14th Five Year Plan" for new energy and the "dual carbon" target, solid-state batteries have become a global competitive focus. The national key support for solid-state battery technology research and development, the establishment of an all solid state battery industry university research collaborative innovation platform, and the industry is accelerating towards the commercialization goal of becoming a new generation of power batteries.
